Westpark Elementary Soars with Learning.com!
|
Mrs. Rebecca Clements, a 5th-grade teacher at Westpark Elementary, has been with the school for 9 years with over 25 years of experience. This year, she began using Learning.com, available through the FWISD Launchpad.
She incorporates the typing program every other week during Wildcat Time and at home, focusing on improving keyboard familiarity and typing speed. Starting with 4th grade lessons, she has created groups for students at different levels, with many advancing quickly due to their enthusiasm for the program. As a result, students have shown a significant improvement, reducing "hunting and pecking" and completing digital assignments more efficiently.
