FWISD will no longer use the Google Classroom and Google Jamboard applications. The district is transitioning to alternative tools that better meet the evolving needs of educators and students. This change aims to enhance digital collaboration and learning experiences with more advanced features and integrations offered by other platforms. 

The Edtech team is thrilled to announce the addition of Canva and Quizizz applications for district-wide access by teachers and staff. These innovative tools are set to enhance creativity and engagement in the classroom. Canva offers a user-friendly platform for designing visually appealing educational materials, while Quizizz provides interactive quizzes and gamified learning experiences.

The Fort Worth ISD EdTech team is thrilled to announce the upcoming Fort Worth Technology Conference, a premier event dedicated to showcasing new and innovative applications designed to enhance teaching and learning. This conference is a fantastic opportunity for district teachers and employees to explore cutting-edge tools, share ideas, and collaborate on best practices.

This school year, Fort Worth ISD is excited to implement the newly revised Technology Applications Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TA TEKS) into its curriculum. These updated standards, approved by the State Board of Education, are designed to enhance students' digital literacy and technological proficiency from kindergarten through eighth grade.
